Fireants love to get inside electrical components and a nice warm aerator that has to constanly run is no exception. Notice how they build there nest in the air filter. They will get in their chew on parts, bring in dirt and bury their dead inside the aerator as the pictures below show.
A few images from the jobsite of a pumped effluent drainfield system installed by KountyWide Septic Service in Aledo, Texas.
Although not the clearest picture, this image shows a lift pump I installed in the basement of a Granbury lake house. This pump lifted the raw sewage via 2 inch pipe to a 1000 gallon septic tank system. The drainfield consisted of two ET fields separated by a bull-run valve. Interesting layout. This is a picture looking down into a riser of a pumped effluent drainfield system I installed in Aledo, Texas. If you are have any type of system installed that involves sub-surface drainage, you should have a filter like this installed. It will saved a drainfilled from killers like lint, wipes etc. It has a 1/16" filter that makes sure only water and small organic debris passes out to the drainfield
